Alpha is a series of sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly, and informal environment. Each session includes three key elements: a meal, a talk, and small group discussions. The aim is to create a space where you can explore the meaning of life and the Christian faith freely.
At Parkway we want to welcome you and your family to try Alpha. Our focus is to give you full-service hospitality so that you can get the most out of your journey exploring faith with us. In that regard every meeting we will provide the following:

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. It’s an opportunity to ask the big questions of life and faith, and it’s designed for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment.
What to Expect
- Great Food: Each session begins with a meal. It’s a fantastic way to build community and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. Enjoy delicious food while making new friends.
- Engaging Talks: The talks are designed to inspire and provoke thought. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as “Who is Jesus?”, “Why did Jesus die?”, and “How can I have faith?”.
- Open Discussion: After the talk, it’s your chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in a small group setting. There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.
