What is the service like?
Service starts with a welcome. Expect a service that is full of Scripture and prayer. We open worship with Scripture, confess our sins and receive an assurance of pardon, read the Bible lesson for the sermon, listen to the sermon, and lift up prayers together.
We sing a mix of modern and ancient hymns accompanied by a piano.
Our worship service follows a set order with some variation from time-to-time.
Do you celebrate the Lord’s Supper?
We regularly (monthly) celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper; additionally on Easter and Christmas.
How long is service?
Sunday service is usually 75-90 minutes
After Service
We are a smaller congregation that values fellowship and friendship and will invite newcomers to join us after service for coffee and cookies to get to know you better.
Our pastors are available to meet with you and your family, discuss any questions you may have, or pray with you following the service.
How do we dress?
People dress however they feel led within the bounds of modesty.
What about kids?
Children are encouraged to attend the Worship service. Singing and learning more about the Bible. Prior to the sermon we invite kids up front for a brief children’s lesson. Then children (Kindergarten to 5th grade) are dismissed (with parental permission) to their own lesson in one of the classrooms. Older children are encouraged to remain in the sanctuary for the sermon and rest of the service. Families with baby’s are welcome during the entire service. We also provide a nursery for those who would like to utilize it.
